In 2011 the District Bike Ride will develop into something much bigger. This year we are adding a 5k Run and a 5k Walk to the already popular 18 mile, 36 mile, 64 mile and 100 mile rides. The family friendly event coincides with Downtown Bartow's Annual Fall Craft Fair and the town will also be hosting a Vintage Car Show, and Kiddy Rides, along with other events.

And best of all this is a great Club Fund-raising opportunity. Anyone riding, running or walking for your club can download a sponsorship form and get sponsors on a per mile or fixed price basis. All money raised by sponsorship goes straight into club funds. This is a wonderful opportunity for an extra fundraiser, or even the main fundraiser for your club. Several riders over the past two years have raised over $1000 individually, so just imagine what a team could achieve. Whether running, riding or walking for funds or for fun, or even just spectating, this is a family fun day out and a great inter-club fellowship opportunity.

Profits on participant Registration Fees for riders will be applied 100% to the District Dictionary Project

So let's RIDE, RUN, WALK, AND ENJOY THIS DISTRICT ORGANIZED EVENT. FURTHER DETAILS AVAILABLE AT THE ROTARY RIDES WEBSITE INDICATED ABOVE.
